DC Circulator added to Google Transit
March 03, 2010
By the Voice
Popular trip-planning Web site Google Transit now includes information on the DC Circulator buses, the District Department of Transportation announced last week.

The service lets Google users map their route to a destination using the Circulator bus system.

The news comes as public-transit users await an announcement from the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority that Google Transit will include its bus and train data, as well. The transit authority originally wanted Google to pay for the information, but backed down after residents protested.
